BUILT OVER TIME
Early Internet Pioneer
While most of the world had never heard of the internet, our founder was already online — developing deep technical knowledge of internet infrastructure years before it became mainstream. That early immersion became the foundation of everything Bytes & PCs would become.
Building Internet Infrastructure from the Ground Up
Our founder began his professional technology career as Systems Administrator for Cencom Internet in Springfield, Illinois — one of the region's earliest internet service providers. He designed, built, and maintained the infrastructure that brought internet connectivity to businesses and individuals across the Midwest.
Bytes & PCs Founded — Chicago, IL
We established Bytes & PCs in Chicago, quickly building a reputation as the city's premier technology services company. Our client portfolio included major corporations including Miller Freeman Publications and CMP Media, providing comprehensive IT support for their sales and operations teams across the country. We also provided technology services for businesses and residents throughout Chicago's iconic Lake Shore Drive high-rises.

Chicago Magazine conducted a rigorous independent evaluation of every computer services company in the city. Without prior notification, they deployed a complex technical challenge to each company — three separate times. Bytes & PCs was the only company to successfully resolve the problem on all three occasions. No other company came close.
Y2K Critical Infrastructure — Hospitals & Nursing Homes
As the Y2K deadline approached, Bytes & PCs was engaged by hospitals and nursing homes throughout the Chicago area to assist their IT departments in achieving full Y2K compliance. We worked directly alongside internal IT teams, applying critical patches, updating systems, and ensuring that patient care infrastructure would remain fully operational as the calendar turned to 2000. Working in healthcare environments at that scale — where system failures are not an option — required a level of precision and accountability that has defined our standards ever since.
Expanding to Southern California
Bytes & PCs established operations in Santa Clarita, California, bringing our Chicago-proven expertise to the Santa Clarita Valley and San Fernando Valley markets. We were featured in The Daily News upon our arrival. We continued to serve our established Chicago and national client base remotely while building strong roots in Southern California.
Expanding into Cybersecurity
